Nigel Bruce was born on February 4, 1895 and his portrayal of Doctor Watson defined the character for generations. He starred in a long-running series of films alongside Basil Rathbone and recorded hundreds of radioplays as the good doctor.

Nigel Bruce was a good friend of Sir Basil Rathbone . I know many story’s they went thought making the 14 films they made together. My reason is. Basil Rathbone is my cousin. I talked to him an also my dad . He was a very great actor so was Nigel. I am putting notes together about all the things he told me of his life. May put out a small book about it. If you would like to publish it.let me know.
