It’s that time again! Please join us on August 23 at 2pm ET/1pm CT for our last chat of the summer! You can register at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/56pK1OVTR66XJwdlIZvskw
BUT WAIT, there’s more! It’s also time for our Annual Treasure Hunt! And yes, I am posting this late, and I apologize! Since I am posting late, we’ll give you a little extra time: all answers are due by 11:59pm Eastern Time on September 5, the Saturday before Labor Day.
Download the Word file, fill out the answers, and submit it to our Treasure Master, Bullpup Hector (Rich Krisciunas), at kriscirt@gmail.com. Good luck!

Could you do a PDF again for me. I still do not have the Word program on my computer.
Hi Elaine! Check your inbox for an email from Rich! 🙂
Well, the anagram.
Just a question: does “Watsonian phrase” mean it’s a Watson quote or should we look for a generic canonical phrase?
(btw, I preferred cyphers 😉 )
Indeed.
And is it an anagram of the words, as the question states, or all the letters? And does the word “Watsonian” refer to the chap or to the society’s publication?? And does the word “phrase” mean the solution is not a complete sentence???
So much to over-think as the deadline approaches, yet ominous silence from the society!
Well, Rich doesn’t get notifications for these comments, and no one else has the answer key. And most of us are still working. 😉
But the cipher was always about or quoting Watson, so I don’t expect that to change now. As to overthinking the anagram… well, I can’t really help there, sorry! Like I said, I don’t have the answer key. But since Rich said “phrase,” I expect that he does mean that it’s not a complete sentence. The string of words presented is short enough.
Thanks, Madeline.
It’s previously been quotes from or about Watson, and I doubt that Rich has switched it up now. Sorry, Rich doesn’t get the notifications for these comments, but I do, and tbh, I don’t get an answer key. 😉
